SUSTAINABILITY IN ACTION

At UKERSEN, sustainability is built into how we develop, produce, and deliver fabrics.

Responsible Material Development

We collaborate with trusted partners to develop materials that are safer, more traceable, and lower in impact.

Cleaner Production Thinking

We integrate cleaner processes and continuous improvement to reduce emissions, wastewater, and waste.

Improved Resource Efficiency

We optimize water and energy use across operations to create more with less — responsibly.

Long-Term Partnerships

We believe meaningful change happens together. We grow lasting partnerships built on trust, transparency, and shared purpose.

Responsible Materials

We offer recycled, preferred, and lower-impact material options for fabric development. Based on product needs and brand requirements, we work with sustainable yarn solutions, recycled fibers, and certified material choices.

Wastewater Treatment & Water Reuse

Production-generated wastewater is collected and treated through our wastewater management system, supporting a 65% reclaimed water reuse rate. Reclaimed water can be reused in selected production processes, industrial cooling, and facility landscaping where standards allow.

Energy Efficiency & Emissions Reduction

Solar photovoltaic panels installed on our factory rooftop generate approximately 2.2 million kWh of renewable electricity each year, supporting around 20% of production energy needs while reducing carbon emissions across manufacturing operations.

Biodegradable Innovation

We explore biodegradable textile solutions through REPLO® technology. REPLO® supports our work in next-generation synthetic textile innovation, including biodegradable solutions for polyester, nylon, spandex-related fibers, PU, EVA, and other synthetic material applications under defined end-of-life conditions. Further details are introduced in the following REPLO® section.
Responsible materials. Cleaner processes. Better textile futures.
